In our lifetime , we may be graced by a few great personalities.These people shape our lives for the better. They instil values , hopes and dreams in us . They have an everlasting impression on others because of their dedication , commitment, sincerity and impartiality . Manzoor Hashmi epitomised all these traits which made him a great personality.
Today is the death anniversary of Manzoor Hashmi Sahib.
I know Manzoor Hashmie Sahib from early seventies when he was working as a teacher in Govt.Hr.Sec.School Hajin Town.
Hashmie Sahib was very popular among his students, colleagues and Hajinis because of his truthfulness,affection,efficiency,character,honesty and his effectiveness in his job.Hashmie Sahib Is even today a household name in our Hajin Town.
As a teacher Hashmie Sahib shaped the personality of thousands of Students who have now a name and fame especially in Adbee circles.
Hashmie Sahib was a multifaceted personality.A great Poet, Writer, Language activist,Educationist and besides all a great human being.
Manzoor Hashmie Sahib was immensely loved by his fellow writers,students nears and dears for his simplicity,humanity and down-to-earth approach in life.
Manzoor Hashmie Sahib worked very hard to generate among his large number of students interest in Kashmiri Language and Literature.
We lovers of Kashmiri Language and Literature remember and Salute
Manzoor Hashmie Sahib today on his death anniversary.
May ! His soul rest in Heaven(Ameen).
