On a prescheduled appointment office bearers and members had a fruitful meeting with Aijaz Asad, IAS Distt. Dev. Comissioner Baramula at Dak Banglow today. Aijaz Asad himself a poet and admirer of Kashmiri literature and culture extended warm welcome to AMK delegation headed by the president of the Markaz Mr M Amin Bhat and issued on the spot instructions for resolution of issues raised.
An event proposed to be held on 22 feb in connection with mother language day celebration to be cordinated by Mr Mudasir Hussain KAS Distt Information Officer , present during the deliberations,was also discussed and shall be finalised before the scheduled date.
AMK President M. Amin Bhat and General Secretary Shabnum Tilgami thanked DDC for his pro culture and pro literature approach.
Subsequently a meeting of Editorial Board of AMK was held at Markaz Head Office.
The meeting which continued for around 3 hours discussed at length the two special issues of Prava magzine including the Golden jubilee issue.A detailed blue print and time schedule was drawn to accomplish this important task.
On the sidelines of the Board meeting another meeting was held by the sub committee for affiliations headed by Vice President Javid Mawari in which the representatives of the applicant units too were present.
Those who attended today’s meetings included General Secretary Shabnum Tilgami, Sectrtary Farooq Shaheen, Media Secretary Jameel Ansari and Librarian Zahoor Hygami, Editorial Board Members Zameer Ansari, Syed Nadim Bukhari, Shakir Shafi and MCS Conveenor G.M.Mahir.
